BRENDAN FRASER (Clayton Boone) plays a serious dramatic part in GODS AND MONSTERS, following international acclaim for the uproarious title role in the comedy hit GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE.

Fraser made his feature film debut as a prehistoric caveman in the hit ENCINO MAN. He went on to star in SCHOOL TIES, the acclaimed 1950s-era drama about a Jewish student facing anti-Semitism at a New England prep school.

Following these two roles, Fraser starred opposite Joe Pesci in the drama WITH HONORS, played a rock star in the comedy AIRHEADS, and starred opposite Albert Brooks in THE SCOUT. His other film credits include Percy Adlon’s YOUNGER AND YOUNGER, Philip Ridley’s THE PASSION OF DARKLY NOON, and Steven Soderberg’s "Professional Man" for Showtime’s "Fallen Angels" series.

Born in Indianapolis and raised in Europe and Canada, Fraser attended Upper Canada College and received his B.F.A. in acting from the Actor’s Conservancy, Cronish College of the Arts, in Seattle.

Mr. Fraser recently received rave reviews for his work as a tortured writer in John Patrick Shanley’s play Four Dogs and a Bone; starred in the film version of TWILIGHT OF THE GOLDS, based on the play by Jonathan Tolins, with Garry Marshall, Jennifer Beals and Faye Dunaway; and played the dual role of twin brothers in the romantic comedy MRS. WINTERBOURNE with Shirley MacLaine and Ricki Lake.
